Pretend you are at the restaurant of your choice, and write a dialogue between the server and the customer(s). The server may make food and drink suggestions, but ultimately the decision is the customer's. When the server brings the food and/or drinks, pretend there is a problem (fly in soup, wrong food, too much salt, etc.) Use as much food vocabulary as possible.

You keep a journal to let your teacher and friends know about your experiences by posting messages. Today, a very important holiday was celebrated. Write about what you ate, what souvenirs you bought and in what activities you participated. As you begin to write, you start to think about your own holiday celebrations in the United States. So, you include this reflection in your journal writing. Don't forget to include a photo!
